Welcome to the

Charles Butler 400 Foundation

We are bringing nature and our bee story to inspire schools and communities to tell your story, and encourage a new generation of environmental activists and beekeepers to sustain our natural world.

How We Can Help

  • To children, teens, and adults, who may be experiencing real difficulties in their lives, to connect with nature and the bee story and show them the joys of the natural world, and the calming effect that our environment has on our feelings and wellbeing.

  • To enhance education experiences through community and schools collaboration partnerships. This approach encourages curiosity, attention, interest and excitement, instilling teamwork, and gives confidence to individuals to be proud of their learnings, as well as creating an enriched learning experience in meaningful and imaginative ways.

  • By providing a beacon of support to your projects young people will see and appreciate the importance of building a sustainable environment that will enable humans, bees and all pollinators to thrive together in the natural world.

  • Developing stewardship for nature and wild places is imbued through the teachings of how bee colonies work together for the success of the hive.

We believe by upholding Charles Butler’s incredible honey bee observations,  recordings, and their environment during his lifetime, our approach to provide educational training will encourage and inspire future generations to create their own sustainable biodiverse wildlife habitats within our natural world.
